Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. You've seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly; use less air; and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They observe aquatic life more easily without disturbing their surroundings. You can achieve this, too.
The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course improves the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevates them to the next level. If you want to improve your buoyancy control, and optimise your air consumption, this is the way to go! You'll also learn to achieve neutral buoyancy, hover in place and use the right amount of weights.
The course comprises 3 main components –
The first day is reserved for pool training, while open water dives in the ocean are conducted on the next day. Typically, at SEI, we conduct this course according to the following schedule –
Day 1 (11am-1pm/3pm-5pm): Pool training session & buoyancy clinic
Day 2 (7am-3pm): Head to Grande Island for 2 open water dives under the direct supervision of your instructor. Practice buoyancy control to become a more confident, relaxed diver. Be perfectly balanced; improve your air consumption & observe skittish marine life more closely than ever before!
This course is aimed at improving your overall balance underwater, which in turn will help you feel calmer & enjoy your dives manifold!
