The PADI Emergency First Responder (EFR) Course is designed to teach essential, life-saving skills in a supportive environment to diver and non-divers. While it is a fundamental part of dive education, EFR training helps ensure safety not just underwater, but also in daily life – in school, at home, work or even the market.
Besides teaching skills, the course aims to foster a sense of responsibility while instilling confidence in participants. At SEI, we encourage a hands-on approach to emergency response and teach you –
As an EFR-trained individual, you are prepared to respond to the unexpected and can make a life-saving difference in the critical moments following an incident, before emergency services arrive.
Nothing beats the thrill of exploring the underwater world, but like any adventure activity, diving also comes with its set of challenges and potential risks. The Rescue Diver Course hones your ability to recognize, prevent and respond to diving-related emergencies, involving yourself or others.

The Enriched Air Diver is PADI’s most popular Specialty Course and for good reason!
The air we breathe on surface is approximately 79% nitrogen and 21% oxygen. Any breathing gas with more oxygen and less nitrogen than this is called enriched air (also known as EANx or nitrox).
When using nitrox, you absorb less nitrogen during your dive compared with regular air. This means, you get longer dive times for a given depth and shorter surface intervals between dives. All of this translates into you getting to spend more time underwater!
As a certified Enriched Air Diver, you can dive with up to 40% oxygen.
From exploring well-preserved wrecks to spotting new species, many great dive experiences lie beyond depths of 18 metres/60 feet. The PADI Deep Diver Specialty teaches you to perform such deeper dives but within the limits of recreational scuba in a safe, supervised manner.
Deeper dives come with additional challenges and safety considerations. During this course, you develop your diving capabilities and focus on perfecting your foundational skills, because buoyancy control becomes increasingly critical the deeper you dive. You also learn to plan your dives in greater detail; manage your gas; and identify and deal with narcosis.
As a certified Deep Diver, you can dive to a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet – the upper limit of recreational scuba.
As a certified diver you might be curious about the operating mechanisms of your equipment. You might also be keen to invest in some equipment of you own & want to learn how to maintain it properly. The PADI Equipment Specialist Course is your answer!
You learn to manage basic repairs and adjustments, so you never have to miss a dive due to minor issues with your equipment – whether it's a missing o-ring, wetsuit tear or a broken fin strap.
You will also learn more about how dive gear works, which in turn will help you make informed purchase decisions depending on your needs. You will also be better prepared to take care of your investment.
Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. You've seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly; use less air; and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They observe aquatic life more easily without disturbing their surroundings. You can achieve this, too.
The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course improves the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevates them to the next level. If you want to improve your buoyancy control, and optimise your air consumption, this is the way to go! You'll also learn to achieve neutral buoyancy, hover in place and use the right amount of weights.
